01. Epoxy and Urethane Coatings Flooring

Epoxy and Urethane are great for protecting your floor against stains, damage, chemicals, oils, and wear. They are both light reflective, easy to clean, and long lasting. Epoxy is a thermosetting polymer which is available in three different formulations for a garage floor coating and sealer; water based, solvent based, and 100% solids. These formulations allow for varying degrees of thickness from 3 mils to over 10 mils for a single coating for a garage floor. They also allow for ease of application, special bonding characteristics, and VOC considerations. Epoxy bonds extremely well to properly prepared concrete and can sometimes be used as a resurfacing agent for old or worn concrete that needs a new garage floor surface.

02. CONCRETE GRINDING & POLISHING

Polished concrete is one of the more modern types of flooring systems available today. Just a few years ago, very few people had ever heard of polished concrete, but diamond-polishing technology now makes it possible to grind and polish concrete surfaces to a mirror like finish.

03. NON-SKID COATINGS

Many industrial facilities need non skid (or non-slip, anti-slip, anti-skid, etc) flooring for safety. However, besides being slip resistant, your floor coating likely has to serve other purposes, such as being easy to clean, glossy or of a certain color, for instance.

Most non skid floor paint works by making the concrete floor bumpier. While coating floor surfaces with epoxy or polyurethane coatings can make them somewhat grippy, there are special non skid coatings for where high levels of traction are needed. Mainly the bumpy effect of these coatings is achieved by the use of small particles in the coating, though some get the bumps through a thick product that forms a nappy texture as it is rolled on.
